The persons insured
Insurance cover applies to
all persons employed in or by your company.
This includes
- salaried staff,
- interns, guest workers and guest students and casually employed workers
- teleworkers working online from their homes
- workers from temping agencies, and people employed by external companies working on your premises.
- directors and board members with a maximum stake of 20 % of the company’s shares
- members of supervisory, administrative and advisory boards
Besides your own employees, people who are only working for you temporarily are also covered.
Some examples:
No. 1: You order a temporary office worker from a temping agency to help out with data input for two weeks in your company.
No. 2: The windows in your premises are cleaned once a month. You give an order to a firm of office cleaners who send along two window cleaners at a time who clean the windows on your instructions.
These workers are automatically covered by your insurance for the time they are working on your premises. We will indemnify you for damage or loss caused wilfully by the persons belonging to the groups mentioned above if you are unable to get compensation from their employers or principals.
Insurance cover is worldwide and applies to all your majority subsidiaries.
