Salary:
Our trainees are paid according to the collective wage agreement of the private insurance industry. Consequently trainees are being paid the following salary:
from 01/01/2008:
1st practical training year: 754 euro
2nd practical training year: 827 euro
3rd practical training year: 899 euro
Christmas and Vacation Bonus:
According to the current tariff a 50% vacation and an 80% Christmas bonus is granted to all employees. An increase of these percentages depends on the economic development of the enterprise.
Contribution to capital formation:
Euler Hermes pays 40 Euro per month additionally to the content as a contribution to capital formation.
HVV card:
A HVV Proficard is subsidized by us with 25 Euro, your own contribution is about 16,50 euro. If you should live outside of the HVV range, a disbursement of this amount is possible as travel costs subsidy.
Employee conditions:
Euler Hermes is an enterprise of the Allianz Group. For this reason our employees receive special conditions in private insurances and other products of the Allianz company as well as the Dresdner bank. An entry into the company health insurance fund of the Allianz companies (BKK Allianz) is likewise possible.
Working hours:
The weekly working time amounts to 38 hours. The hours are accounted for in a very flexible working hours system, which also applies to you as a trainee.
Vacation:
Per year 30 days of vacation may be taken.
English lessons:
In the context of the training free English lessons are given.
Career after the training:
After having successfully completed your apprenticeship many working options are offered to you at Euler Hermes. Former apprentices do not only fill specialist positions, but are also found in various positions in the lower and middle management.
Apprentice area and working environment:
Trainees have an apprentice area equipped with telephone and several PC’s for their convenience. In most departments you will also be provided with an own desk with PC.
Cafeteria:
Euler Hermes has its own cafeteria, which offers daily three menus and a salad buffet at attractive prices. After lunch you can have a small snack, some ice-cream or coffee and tea likewise at moderate prices.
Company-facilitated sports activities:
Euler Hermes offers a large number of sportive after-work activities. The spectrum reaches from classical kinds of sport such as football (soccer), table tennis and gymnastic up to skat (a popular German card-game). Because of the affiliation to the Allianz Group, our employees may also participate in activities offered by Allianz sport community, which has an even more differentiated selection of sports.
Favorable location:
No matter which part of Hamburg you are coming from you can easily reach Euler Hermes. The way by foot from the metro-station “Bahrenfeld” to our headquarters is covered in few minutes.
Car drivers may use our three-level underground parking lot free of charge and have due to the proximity to the highway exit “Bahrenfeld” at the A7 a direct binding to almost all peripheral areas of Hamburg.
