The certificate Betriebswirt/in (WAH) will soon be accredited by the FIBAA as Bachelor and enables students to enter a master course of studies.
Description: This training enables you to take part in extensive expertise in the world of economics and additionally well-founded practical experiences in the insurance business.
The training in this career profile is partitioned into theory blocks at the Wirtschaftsakademie Hamburg and practice blocks at Euler Hermes. This one-of-a-kind cross-linking of theory and practice enables you to a practice-oriented study of economics.
At the Wirtschaftsakademie economics are taught by practice-oriented lecturers. This means that they are not full-time employees, like at the university. But they regularly work in chambers, agencies or enterprises, like Otto, Beiersdorf, Reemtsma and Exxon Mobile. Thus the practice-oriented studies are ensured. Beyond that lecturers of various universities and professional schools, like the University of Hamburg, the Hamburg University of Economics and Politics (HWP) and the University of the Federal Armed Forces, teach at the Wirtschaftsakademie.
In addition you become acquainted with our enterprise from another perspective during a 4-week stay in one of our foreign units or one of our German branches. Apart from an annual scientific composition about current topics from economics, finances or politics, towards the end of your training you get the possibility of working independently with your colleagues on a project of your choice.
Conditions: Abitur (general university-level graduation)
Vocational school: The lectures at the Wirtschaftsakademie take place block-by-block.
